|Scope & Content||Mike Royko, syndicated columnist for the CHICAGO DAILY NEWS, was instrumental in creating interest in "How to Carve Totem Poles" by Paul Luvera. He wrote an article in September 1977 about Luvera and the book, and sales took off. This column is a follow-up to the first one and relates that the book is now in its second printing and Luvera has been interviewed on National Public Radio and the Canadian Broadcasting Company. "As an author, Luvera needs only one more triumph to achieve complete success. His book has to be turned into a movie."|
