Scope & Content 14 newspaper articles from the early 1960s are mostly about Rotary activities. Rotary met with city and state officials to create the roadside park on Spur 20 welcoming visitors to our "All-America-City". They also helped install a well and power to the Girl Scout camp Timber Trails on the west side of Lake Cranberry (Little Cranberry). There are also articles about the Rotary District 504 institute meeting at Skyline and a Rotary program to supply magazines and books to foreign tankers docking at the refineries. One thank you letter from a visiting Rotarian is also included.
