Object Name Report
Scope & Content In February 1978 Phyllis Ennes proposed a Title IV-B project at Fidalgo Elementary titled Developing Aesthetic Awareness. The object was to have students become aware of art in its various forms in their community. The eight students who participated were Kelly Kaeding, Nathan Lindberg, Carl Bates, Scarlet Pepper, Shari Cross, David Hughes, Tina Weirauch, and Chris Lofgren. They made at least two field trips; one was taking photos in Anacortes with the guidance of Matt Brown (see 2013.077.017-.028), and the other was a visit to Phil McCracken's studio on Guemes Island (see 2013.077.322.001-.006).
