Scope & Content Homemade Christmas Card from Wallie and Mary Ann Funk, December 1994. Front cover ( page 1) says,""Free Wally" Greetings from the Funks", and has a black and white photo of whales in a pen, a rowboat with a male in it. Page 2 has 3 black and white photos with blue text--Orcas (adults & calves) hew the line; a whale "attempting to elude net"; "Captured whales monitored from vessel"; Back page (page 7) also has 3 black and white photos, "a whale trying to get out of the net "fierce efforts to find loop holes"; a diver "ready to ogle Orcas" and a man "Ted Griffin, hunt leader". Back cover (page 8) has 2 black and white photos, an aerial view of the top-side of a whale ""Head & shoulders" shot of cruising Orca", and a whale "turning back on eager captors". An insert (page 3, 4, 5, and 6) again have black and white photos and blue text. Page 3 shows a whale, and a motor boat. The text tells about "The Great Penn Cove Whale Catch, 1970". Continuing with the text about the Whale Catch, page 4 has a photo of 2 whales "Churning up waters seeking to escape". Page 5, with 2 photos of motor boats and the whales stated, "We want out of her NOW!" and "Cove patroled to ward off sightseers"; the bottom of this page says "Wallie and Mary Ann Funk December 1994". Finally, page 6 has two photos also. One of 6 whales in the net , and one of the "men captors" with the description of "The captives and the captors".
