|Scope & Content||On March 5, 1957, the SKAGIT VALLEY HERALD ran an article about Paul Luvera selling Luvera's Market to Ed Sanger, a former manager of the Anacortes Tradewell Store. Luvera opened the store in 1922 and ran it for 35 years at 702 Commercial Avenue. At the time of the sale Luvera had no definite plans for his future, but he eventually became widely known for his carving of totem poles.|
