The April 25, 1947, SEA HAWK NEWS by Anacortes High School students was labeled the "Spring Fever". The front page featured a silhouette of a barefoot boy with a straw hat leaning against a tree with a fishing line in the water. New included the Junior Play on May 6, the Senior Ball on May 9, a band concert, and naming of Frances Maricich as valedictorian and Eugene Anderson as salutatorian.
