This house at 2107 9th Street, on the south side of 9th Street, still stands as of December 2008., although it has been remodeled from the original structure. It has an excellent view of Guemes Channel. See WF 1172 for another view. According to Lloyd and Rita's son, Lloyd Brown, on 8/12/2006, this home was built in 1923-4 by Lloyd Eyre Brown and Rita Moore Brown. Lloyd and his brother owned Brown Brothers Clothing on Commercial Avenue between 6th and 7th. Lloyd died of pneumonia in 1926; his wife Rita then sold the house to Mrs. Douglass Allmond (Cora). James and Katherine Mustacich Funk later owned it and sold it in 1990 to Mrs. and Mrs. Craig Jenssen. Note the thatched roof, the only one o
