Twenty one color photographs of the Indian Journey "Paddle to Swinomish" taken by Terry Slotemaker for the Anacortes Museum. Photographs illustrate the first canoes arriving at the Swinomish Reservation in LaConner, Washington. Approximately 100 canoes participated during the week . Organizers estimated thousands of people would be visiting the reservation in turning out for the event. Photos include ones of people, area and boats.
