Caption ROGERS, Wilson
Description Wilson Rogers graduated from Anacortes High School in 1928 where he was active in orchestra, glee club, operetta, and drama. The 1929 city directory listed him living with Edward and Claire Rogers at 1st and Oakes; Edward ran a shoe repair business at 1108 Commercial from c. 1904 to c. 1938. The 1937 directory listed Wilson as a laborer, living with his wife, Gladys at 1403 30th Street. By 1948 he was the filter operator of the Anacortes Water Department and lived at 38th and J Avenue. Rogers had the Western Auto store at 602 Commercial, most likely during the 1950s.
