|Description||Studio portrait of William McCracken (1892-1977) as a boy with a large dog ( St Bernard ). McCracken's father Frank operated the Eureka Tavern at the corner of 5th and Commercial from approximately 1897-1906. Photo is dated by approximate age of child and Ewing's departure from Anacortes in 1893. He then moved to Everett and opened a photo studio. Ewing's label stating "Everett, LaConner, and Anacortes" was only used for a short time. See also WF 0112 for additional photo of McCracken.|
