Caption Fire Engine
Description Pictured is the Anacortes Fire Department's first motorized ladder truck in the doorway of Anacortes Fire Hall; the hall was built in 1891 located at 1107 5th Street, on south side of 5th Street between O Avenue (southwest corner) and N Avenue which also housed the jail and Anacortes City Hall. The side of the engine says "Hose 1". On July 16, 1914, the front page of the ANACORTES AMERICAN featured this photo.
