Caption HENWOOD, Tom
Description Tom Henwood was the agent for Standard Oil in Anacortes. He and his wife Elizabeth lived at 1105 4th according to the 1948 city directory. His daughter, Annette Cecotti, gave the following description to Theresa Trebon on 11-09-2002. "My father was the chairman for the Marineers' Pageant for several years and that's how he got these photos [of the Marineers' Pageant]. He was active in everything: Rotary, Elks, American Legion; he served on the draft board in Anacortes for several years. For a time I think he was one of only two Republicans in town. We came to Anacortes in the mid-1930s through his position with Standard Oil Company. We had been in Bremerton but when Standard Oil tells you to move, you go. I graduated from Anacortes High School in 1946 and my parents retired there."
