Caption Marineer Pageant Royalty
Description Marineers' Pageant royalty en route to California. Photo shows, left to right: Princess Norine Oldow, Queen Doris Springer and Princess Bonita Cross, posing at the door of a United DC-4 on its maiden voyage from Fidalgo Island. On 7-31-1947, the ANACORTES AMERICAN reported on "Pageant Winners Hollywood trip." The royalty won the trip and participated in programs at Seattle, Portland, and Los Angeles air fields to inaugurate the new air service.
