Caption Fidalgo Bay
Description View of southern end of Fidalgo Bay, taken from the White Farm (see WF 0555). The sloughs through the marsh land drained the White farm. It appears that only the railroad bridge, built in the summer of 1889, had been built across the bay at this time. The wagon bridge, built in the spring of 1890, is not seen and thus helps date this photo to late1889 - early 1890. The marsh land was later filled in and is the current (2011) site of State Route 20.
