Caption Jesse P. Guston
Description Jesse P. Gustin standing by the pressman's tools. Gustin was the son of E. L. (Rowland) Gustin, who was the sister of Cora Allmond. Cora was the wife of Douglass Allmond, co-founder of the ANACORTES AMERICAN. When this image was taken, Gustin was working in Lebanon, Missouri. In 1890 he came west to work with his uncle, Douglass Allmond, who had just started the ANACORTES AMERICAN.
