Caption Howard Boulton, AHS teacher/baseball coach
Description Howard Boulton was an Anacortes High School teacher, baseball coach, and basketball coach. Born on February 16, 1907, in Michigan, Boulton moved to Washington in 1912. He graduated from Sedro Woolley High School. He was a teacher and coach at Anacortes High School for thirteen years, from c. 1930-1943. In 1943 Boulton moved to Concrete and served as a grade school principal until 1971. He and his wife, Rhoda, retired to Apache Junction, Arizona. Boulton died on October 5, 1985, in Prescott, Arizona. The men on either side are unidentified, but they were probably assistant baseball coaches.
