Charles J. Brinck, who was employed by Anacortes Lumber and Box for many years--probably as a tallyman or bookkeeper/accountant. He built the house, which still stands, at 1219 10th St. He was born in the French-speaking portion of Belgium and married a French woman, Desiree. They had four children.
