Robert and Ray Separovich are posed in military uniforms. Raymond graduated from Anacortes High School in 1940 where he was active in baseball, basketball, drama, Big "A", annual and newspaper staffs, Boys' Club, Key Club, and the Mt. Vernon Leaders' conference. Following graduation, Ray served in the Coast Guard during World War II. Robert graduated in 1942 and was active in Boys' Club, Big "A", Key Club, baseball, and basketball. Following graduation, he served with the Navy during World War II. Robert Separovich was listed in the 1948 city directory living at 1210 15th Street, apparently with his mother Mary (wife of Anton). Ray Separovich was listed in the 1948 city directory living at 1117 3rd Street with his wife, June. Like his brother Bob and his father Anton, Ray was a fisherman.
The Separovich family first appears in Anacortes city directories in 1929. It listed Anton and Mary Separovich at 1210 15th Street, and John and Mary Separovich at 1119 15th Street. Both Anton and John were fishermen. Robert Separovich was listed in the 1948 city directory living at 1210 15th Street, apparently with his mother Mary (wife of Anton). Anton appears to have died in August 1939.
