Caption McCORMACK, Marian
Description Marian McCormack was the daughter of Frank and Alice Richert McCormack who lived at 824 K Avenue; that home was later purchased by Bill and Ann Bessner. The 1921 city directory listed Frank as the accountant for Anacortes Lumber and Box. By 1937 he was the secretary/treasurer for Anacortes Lumber Company (same company, new name). Marian McCormack was the salutatorian for the Anacortes High School class of 1941. She was active in Honor Society, Girls' Club, drama, drill team, and school government. In 1942 the McCormack family moved to Salem, Oregon. She married Weldon Wilkie and later moved to Mill Valley, California.
