Caption Sloan Shipyard office staff
Description Sloan Shipyard was located on Guemes Island opposite Anacortes on the Guemes Channel. Ten (10) staff members are standing on the pjorch of the small office, with 2 water tanks and tree line in the background. From left those identified to date are: Charley Gant (1st), Hazel March (3rd), William Edward (Bil) Everett, I (5th), Bert Dunham (8th), and Mr. Sloan (Manager) (far right end). Sign on the roof reads "United States Shipping Board, Emergent Fleet Corporation, Inspector".
