Description Native American canoe races in Guemes Channel; the Swinomish, Victoria and Lummi had paddling crews. The race was won by the "Telegraphs" of La Conner. An American Navy gunboat is in the background. USS CHEYENNE (Monitor #10) -- previously USS WYOMING commissioned in Dec. 1902. In Bremerton 1913.
