Description City Hack and Transfer, run by A. Z. Palmer, pictured driving the hack, at an unidentified location. A 1908 ad listed the business office at 3rd and O Avenue. The 1912 city directory listed the business on 5th between Commercial and O, but that same directory listed Anton Mortenson's blacksmith shop, visible in this photo at right, on 2nd Street between O and Commercial avenues. One of the two businesses moved to a different address by 1912.
