|Description||Cast of a play put on by local Anacortes women called "Dusenberry Family." The show played in Anacortes on October 29, and at LaConner on November 4, year unknown, c. 1898-1900. The following individuals can be identified. Mary A. Thomson played Ma Dusenberry; she sits in the chair at far right with a wide lace collar; she managed the Vendome, and later the Wilson Hotel (WF 0751). Anna Kasch is in the photo; she played the typewriter and musician. Anna was the daughter or wife of E. Kasch who ran Kasch's Grocery in the Platt Building (WF 0134). Edna Hutton played the poetess; she is listed in the 1902 city directory living on Cap Sante. The woman standing in the rear row, second from left, appears to be Hortense Dodge, wife of E. S. Dodge, who ran a clothing store at 414 Commercial (WF 0773).|
