Description This b&w photo was taken from a scrapbook or photo album belonging to Jay Dishnow, is of the Anacortes football team in 1928 as State Champions. Football players are individually named along with the position they played. They are: Everett Lindholm, Left End; Raymond Reed, Quarterback; Silas Boulton, Quarterback; Norman Martin, Fullback; Captain Eddy Asselin, Left Tackle; Robert Hill, center; Negley England, Right Tackle; Albert Arnot, Left Guard, Victor Berlin, Right End, Sheldon Moe, Right Halfback, Richard Wooten, Left Halfback. Also pictured are Coaches Harold Kenney, Coach, Jay Dishnow, Assistant Coach and Ernest Hemingson, Manager. At the center bottom the scores of each game are listed.

.002 & .003) These two photo prints are of newspaper articles entitled "Home Wedding" and "Jay Dishnow Wed" for Miss Anabel Peterson and Mr. Jay Dishman. The wedding took place on Saturday evening, August 22. The year is not stated; however, another article is included (#2006.085.012.005) which speaks of their 40th anniversary in 1971, which would place their wedding in 1931. They were married at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Peterson. Rev. William Park officiated the ceremony.
