Caption CAUSLAND, Herb and Viola
Description Herb and Viola Causland, children of Herbert and Gladys, and grandchildren of Frank and Fanny, are pictured in patriotic costumes with their accordions decorated like the American flag. The Causland children were often mentioned by the ANACORTES AMERICAN for their public performances during the 1930s. It is interesting to note that small scraps of fabric from their costumes were included in the Brady photos and negatives; they were included so that Brady could hand-tint the photos to match the costumes. They were probably members of Verna Wells' Rhythm Band.
