Caption Kiddies' Parade - "Two peas in a pod"
Description The "Juvenile" or Children's Parade of the Marineers' Pageant was usually held on Friday, separate from the big community parade held on Saturday. By 1949 the name changed to Kiddies' Parade. It had special categories of events: best decorated bicycle, best decorated doll buggy, etc. This image is of two children in a pea-shaped float on a wagon; the float has a sign, "Two peas in a pod", with the "P" on backwards. Behind the float in a captain's hat is probably Ralph Cole.
