Tape 1: shows the actual fire of the mill between 5:00 and 10:00 A.M.
Tape 2: shows the aftermath and ruins of the mill still smoldering and smoking in many places. Appears that the film may have been taken by a fire inspector or the like as it shows the ruins from every which way including from the air. One can hear the photographer breathing through a respirator.
Anacortes Veneer, Inc., located at the foot of 35th - 37th Streets along Fidalgo Bay operated as A.V.I. from 1939 to 1969 manufacturing plywood. Between 1969 - 1992, various companies owned the mill. At the time of its destruction it was Custom Plywood Corp.
