Caption Banquet honoring Betty Lowman
Description The negative sleeve for this image simply stated "Betty Lowman banquet." Correspondence with her indicated that this was probably following her trip to Alaska in 1937. Betty and her husband, Neil Carey, believe that Betty is standing in the back, third from right wearing a dark jacket, white blouse and a dark bow. Her parents, Ray and Jean Lowman, are probably the ones standing on her left side. Charles Stapp is also standing in back. The correspondence with the Careys is in the file; see also: "Carey celebrates birthday and upcoming book," in the August 6, 2003, ANACORTES AMERICAN.
