|Description||WF 1942-6 are of an unknown cannery at an unknown location. These women are packing fish into cans. It may be Fishermen's Packing Corporation (FPC). FPC was a consortium of fishermen organized in Everett in 1928 by 35 purse seine boat owners; 45 more joined a year later. In February 1938, FPC purchased Booth Fisheries at the foot of O Avenue near Curtis Dock. In 1945, the FPC had "the greatest fish year since 1911, with an average daily haul of pink salmon running at 100,000. The 5-23-1963 ANACORTES AMERICAN reported, "Fish Pack observes anniversary Sunday." 400 people attended that affair at the Eagle's Hall.|
