Caption Lucius Blackington home-Guemes
Description Lucius Blackinton's house on Guemes Island. The house was believed to have been built around 1867, but was moved by Lucius Blackinton to make way for Sloan Shipyards during World War I. The cherry tree in the right foreground was "about 40 years old" in 1917. The man in the photograph is identified as Tom March. The woman is Mary Johns Blackinton of the Samish Tribe
