Caption 1939 Marineer Parade - Puget Sound Power and Light float
Description This Puget Sound Power and Light float with young women and flowers was photographed before or after the 1939 Marineer Parade. It was manufactured in the shape of the Guemes Ferry. It was on O Avenue at 21st in front of the Lutheran Church. Puget Sound Power and Light was listed at 719 Commercial sometime between 1921 and 1927. Between 1954 and 1962 the office moved to 1019 7th Street. By 1986 it had moved to 1007 - 15th Street. Between 1994 and 1997 the office ceased to exist. The Lutheran Church was built in 1910; see also WF 1560.
