Caption Josie E. Trolson
Description Tintype portrait of Josie E. Trolson as a young girl. The 1902 city directory listed her living on Cap Sante and working as a telephone operator at Sunset Telephone Company in the Platt (then called Wells) Building at 4th and Commercial. She worked there from 1897 to July of 1902. See WF 0124 for photo of her in telephone office. In 1917 and 1922 she was a bookkeeper for Robinson Fisheries and was living at 703 W Ave. She had the same address in 1937, but was probably retired. See WF 0300 for a photo/letter that she gave to Douglass and Cora Allmond.
