|Description||Oval hand-tinted picture of Doris Tursi's grandfather on maternal side, Charles F. Fisher. Fisher first settled on Lopez Island, then came to Anacortes, where he operated a paint store between 4th and 5th Streets on the east side. Born in the 1860s, buried at Grandview Cemetery. Worked as a carpenter - built rail depots. He and wife lived in urban renewal area. Member of city council just prior to or just after WWII. (All information supplied by donor).
