Description Bathroom toilet paper holder; came from the now home on 10th and I Avenue that used to be the rectory attached to Westminsters Presbyterian Church at 1308 9th Street. Metal bracket is embossed with, "W. A. Moore, Plumbing & Heating, Anacortes, WN."

"In February 1910, five lots at the corner of 9th and M were purchased from the Great Northern Railroad Company for $1,000 for the purpose of building a new church and a manse. Lee Wakefield, prominent Anacortes canneryman, offered to match the congregations; fund-raising efforts dollar for dollar, with the stipulation that nothing less than a $10,000 church be erected. The challenge was accepted.... The cornerstone of the new church was laid on October 8, 1915. The first service was celebrated on May 1, 1916...."
