Object Name Gown
Description Ceremonial gown for Campfire Camp. Originally owned by Harriet DeRemer Smith in the 1930s. Back of gown: totem at Camp Kirby in five parts for five years (Prince Samish, Princess Louista). Back of leather: two individual torch bearers in Religious Growth and Outdoor Crafts; two national projects, service project and five-year Kirby. Front of leather: Century 21 for being at Seattle World's Fair on CF day (May 5, 1962). Also: Polar Bear Club, International Order of Egg Floppers, Kirby K's. Day Camp, Royal Order Seaweed Exterminators Society, Candy sales, Singing, Swimming, Blue Bird Fly-up, three- and five-year plastic beads (244).
