Object Name Bodice
Description Ivory colored over bodice from wedding ensemble worn by Emma Haugen (age 25c.) when she married Herman L. Trulson (age 25c.), c.1906. Material is translucent; has a high neckline, with bodice having pin-tucking, lace and a large, full ruffle on top half of bodice. sleeves go to about the elbow, ending in a ruffle from 3" inside the arm to 7" on the outside of the arm.. There are 2 hooks (as in hook-and-eye) at the gathered waistline for the bodice to attach to the skirt. Back is closed with 5 hook-and-eyes. Slip is 2010.009.043; bodice 2010.009.045 and sash is 2010.009.042.
