Object Name Flatiron
Description Came with as a set of two metal SAD irons, oval shape with points at each end. Detachable wood and iron handle with wood knob; a shield and C embossed on the metal. Both irons are stamped Colebrookdale Iron Co., Boyertown, Pa., U.S.A., and the number "1". These clothes irons were used by Emilie Owens and her mother on John's Island.
